1. Download the Account Closure Form from the Upstox website. Click Here to download Form
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the home page of the website.
3. You will find the form at Customer Support >> Forms Download section.
4. In case, for some reason, you are unable to download the form then please contact customer care. You can reach them via phone and email.
5. Fill the form by providing all the required details.
6. Please remember that in the case of the joint account, all holders of the account need to sign on the form.
7. Attach all the required documents like a copy of the ledger, unused DP slips. And courier the form to the company’s head office.

1. Follow up with the customer care after a week of submission of the application to know the status of your account.
2. Upstox will start the procedure for transferring securities within 30 days.
3. You will receive intimation for account closure and a final statement.

Upstox accounts can be closed online through the Upstox mobile app or the web portal by submitting an Account Closure request. It takes 7 days for Upstox to close your account post the account closure request is submitted. Login to the Upstox app or website.
